Naser Owaisi
Born in 1934, Tehran, Iran Graduated in law and political science from Tehran University in 1956 Naser Owaisi, a painter and one of the activists of the Saqaqhana school, won a gold medal and a special diploma at the Campion International Exhibition in Italy in 1968. Some of his books have been published in Iran, Italy and America. Owais painting style is poetic and keeps it suspended between painting and line. His works are characterized by beautiful women inspired by the Iranian sun, strong and moving horses, and bright colors. Owaisi has received numerous awards from international exhibitions and biennials, and his works are kept in important cities around the world. He has used Seljuk and Qajar paintings directly in his works and like the painters of his generation, he has created a great change in the history of Iranian painting.
