Bahman Mohassas was one of the leading artists and trendsetters in the field of visual arts of Iran and one of the first Iranian painters who learned painting in the western way and mixed it with an eastern perspective. He was so avant-garde in creating works of art that for a long time, few people could follow his path. Many consider him influenced by "Picasso" and some even call him the Iranian Picasso; An artist who uses western techniques and views in his works, the presence of Iranian spirit in his works is undeniable.
