Vahid Chamani is an Iranian painter and a member of both the Iranian Painters Association and the National Elite Foundation. He received his B.A. in Painting from Sooreh Art University in 2007 and held his first professional exhibition in 2005 at Honar Gallery. Since then, his works have been shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Iran as well as in France, the Netherlands, and the United States.

Chamani’s artistic style constructs a dreamlike, symbolic world with surreal qualities. His imagery often blends myth and mystery, typically rendered in dark and warm tones that have become a hallmark of his visual language.

Throughout his career, he has received several notable awards, including: selected artist of the 7th Iran Painting Biennial, Special Prize of the 2nd International Exhibition of Monotheistic Religions Illustration, Special Prize of the 3rd Youth Art Festival, selected artist of the Tehran Art Festival (2004), selected artist of the 4th International Biennial of the Islamic World (2006), finalist at the Magic of Persia Contemporary Art Prize in London (2009), and selected artist at Art Bridge in Washington, D.C. (2009).
