Hossein Mahjoubi
Born in 1930, Lahijan, Iran. Graduated from Tehran University Faculty of Fine Arts, 1959. In addition to painting and calligraphy, Hossein Mahjoubi has been active in the field of architecture, park construction and green space. Among the lasting works of this artist, whose works are known in Iran and the world, is the design of Sa’i Park in Tehran. Mahjoubi’s works have a special place in the field of painting and he is considered one of the pioneers of modern painting. Nature is the main element of his works and he has been observing the elements of nature for many years. In 1974, he established Mahjoubi House, and on the occasion of its 45th anniversary, a statue of Hossein Mahjoubi was unveiled. He held several solo exhibitions. has held.
