Ali shirazi
Born in 1960 in Shiraz. He started calligraphy training in 1975 with Mr. Nasrullah Moin Esfahani, and after receiving a prestigious certificate from the Iran Calligraphers Association, he received supplementary training in the presence of Professor Gholamhossein Amirkhani, the senior teacher of the Calligraphers Association, in person and by correspondence. Then he worked for a while as the head of the calligraphers’ association of Isfahan province and after immigrating to Tehran in 1367, he became a member of the supreme council of the calligraphers’ association of Iran. He has conducted many workshops in the countries of Kuwait-Qatar-UAE-Greece-Tajikistan-Morocco. He also held a joint workshop with Professor Kyoko Horieh and four other Japanese calligraphers at the Imam Ali Museum with the speech of Professor Amir Khani and the Ambassador of Japan to Iran in 2007. So far, he has received awards in the field of calligraphy and his works are in museums in Iran and the world.
