Parvaneh Etemadi
She began her painting studies under Bahman Mohasses and is considered the artist’s only direct pupil. She enrolled at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Tehran but abandoned her studies after two years. Parvaneh Etemadi is known for her still-life paintings—specifically those executed in a cement-based medium—dating back to the 1970s. She held her first exhibition in 1969 at the Ghandriz Gallery. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, she also created a diverse range of works using colored pencils.
