Mohammad Jafar Pakravan
Mohammad Jafar Pakravan was born in Mashhad in 1984. In 2004, he attended Mohammad Hossein Vahed’s design classes and then continued his design education under Ali Sadatipour at the Jihad Daneshgahi Cultural Center. He held his first exhibition as a student in 2008 at the Faculty of Art of Ferdowsi University. After that, at the invitation of his professor Ali Sadatipour, he exhibited his designs at the Ferdowsi Gallery. He continued his studies at the Master’s degree in painting at the Faculty of Art and Architecture of Central Tehran Azad University. In 2012, he held his first exhibition of paintings in Tehran at the Arte Gallery and after that, he continued his collaboration with its galleries, Ivan, Seyhoun, Sales, and Yeganeh.Contemporary man, the nature of Khorasan, literature and mythology, stories and beliefs and superstitions, and the contrast between traditional and modern society are among the most important concepts that play a significant role in the formation of his ideas. These concepts have pushed his works to the border between reality and fantasy. His latest exhibition, titled Paradise Lost, was held at Yeganeh Gallery
