Ali Malek was born in Tehran in April 1976. Malek is a self-taught artist who turned to sculpture in 2004 after a simple incident. He spent his youth on the path of sports and cinema. Ali Malek studied cinema at the Young Cinema Association in 1996.
One day, after visiting a bookstore and accidentally drawing a dog, his talent was recognized and he started working as an illustrator for a publishing house. Later, he was not very interested in this art, so after getting acquainted with modern and postmodern art, he started sculpting independently. He then joined the painters’ association and followed his path instinctively.
