Wahed khakdan
Wahed Khakdan (born in 1329, Tehran) has a diploma from Tehran Academy of Fine Arts and a bachelor’s degree in interior architecture from the Faculty of Decorative Arts.

He is best known for his paintings depicting an abandoned room with a pile of old and jumbled objects. The main theme of Khakdan’s works is the impermanence of time, objects and people, and he pays a lot of attention to the details of life that humans depend on but will disappear. The experience of migration has greatly influenced Khakdan’s art.
