Masoud arabshahi
Masoud Arabshahi (1314-1398) is a painter, sculptor and one of the leading artists in contemporary Iranian art, who has shown a successful combination of modern abstract art and surface and line geometry in traditional Iranian architecture in his works. Arabshahi’s works have been considered as Saqaqhana art due to the combination of modern and traditional methods; Although the use of traditional themes and elements is not directly seen in them. Masoud Arabshahi was born in Tehran. As a teenager, he learned art from Mahmoud Olya and later at the Academy of Fine Arts under the supervision of Shokouh riazi.
