Hossein Shahtaheri is a contemporary painter born in Tehran who began his career in 1997 and is known for his quasi-impressionist works inspired by Qajar court scenes.

In addition to painting, he has also worked in fields such as installation, decor design, restoration of works, and photography, and has implemented projects such as the design of the Hamedan Anthropology Museum and urban installation works. Shah Taheri graduated in painting from Soure University of Shiraz, and his collaboration with the Malek National Museum has deepened his interest in the history of Iranian art.

His first solo exhibition was held in 2015. Inspired by different historical periods and with discrete color strokes, his works emphasize the concept of memory, distance, and the inability to fully reconstruct the past.
