Ali Malek was born in April 1956 in Tehran. Malek is a self-taught artist who turned to sculpture in 2013 following a simple incident. He spent his youth in sports and cinema. Ali Malek studied cinema in the Young Cinema Association in 1996. One day, after getting to know a bookstore and accidentally drawing a dog, his talent was recognized and then he started working as an illustrator with publications. In the future, he was not very interested in this art, so after learning about modern and post-modern art, he started sculpting independently. He then entered the association of painters and followed his path instinctively.
