Abdi Esbaghi ​​was born in 1956 in Tehran and has a university education in the field of art and art history at Zangar Studio. He became interested in art after studying mathematics and studied art under the supervision of Aydin Aghdashloo.

He is a permanent member of the Iranian Painters Association and an honorary member of the Contemporary Visual Arts Development Institute.

Most of the previous works were created with acrylic technique in a cover of paper and meaningfully in newspaper. His gaze has always been focused on the still life around him and the placement of various objects on paper. This way of creating past works has a kind of hidden meaning with poetry and mystery.

He has held many solo and group exhibitions and has received various awards.
