Reza Kianian (born 1955, Tehran) is a prominent Iranian film and theater actor, but his artistic activities are not limited to acting. He has been active in photography for many years and has held numerous exhibitions of his works in Iran and abroad.His photographs often have a poetic and social outlook. He has had diverse experiences in painting and has created works with bold and abstract colors. He has also presented works in sculpture that are more based on free and personal forms. His visual works have been exhibited in several solo and group exhibitions, and some of them have been sold at prestigious auctions, including Tehran Auction. Kianian is considered one of the multifaceted contemporary Iranian artists who blurs the boundaries between the performing and visual arts in his work.
