Anne Mohammad Tatari
Anne Mohammad Tatari is a Turkmen painter born in 1957 in the city of Gonbad Kavous. The artist’s works are deeply connected to traditional Turkmen culture and art in terms of their originality and richness of color. In 1987, he entered the Faculty of Art and Architecture of the Islamic Azad University, and after receiving his bachelor’s degree, he also completed his postgraduate studies in this field at the same university.
Tatari’s first solo exhibition was held at the Sabz Gallery in Tehran, coinciding with his graduation in 1995. The artist’s first international appearance took place four years later at the Leighton House Gallery in London. Since then, Tatari’s prolific works have been exhibited many times as solo exhibitions in galleries in Iran, France, and the UAE.
