Reza Hedayat
Reza Hedayat was born in Kurdistan in 1966. Arabali Sharveh was a well-known painter and sculptor and Hedayat’s uncle, and as a result, he played an important role in developing his interest in art. Hedayat worked as a book seller for a few years, which delayed his education for a few years. Hedayat continued his studies in painting at the same university a year after completing his undergraduate degree. He taught at the Art and Azad University of Tehran while completing his master’s degree in 1998. Hedayat’s works were selected in the “Nature from the Perspective of the East” exhibition in 2005. Among the successes of this artist at the international level is being selected in the Islamic World Biennial in 2006. Hedayat has participated in more than 30 group exhibitions and 14 solo exhibitions. His solo exhibitions have been held at Atar, Shirin, Tararan Azad, Afrand, and Negah galleries. Reza Hedayat has been teaching art at art universities and art schools for many years and has also been a member of the faculty of Tehran’s Sourah Art College. Ebrahim Jafari, Homayoun Salimi, Farshid Maleki, Mehdi Hosseini, Iraj Eskandari, Mina Nouri, and Arabali Sharveh have been among Reza Hedayat’s professors in his art studies.
