Sadegh Adham was born in 1978 in Masjed Soleyman. His works are somewhere between fantasy and reality and have surrealist motifs.
Adham has an architectural and mythological perspective in his works. His paintings are mostly composed of ovals, cubes, circles, and squares. This same interest in geometric shapes can also be seen in his sculptures. By summarizing and simplifying volumes, he breaks the boundary between iconography and abstraction. Most of his works have a historical and primitive flavor.
Adham’s work was selected for the Niavaran Sculpture Biennial in 2011. He also won first place in design in the 7th, 8th, and 9th Khuzestan Visual Arts Exhibitions from 2005 to 2007 from the Ahvaz and Abadan Museums of Contemporary Arts.
