Mostafa Dashti is a painter born in 1953 in Khash. Mostafa Dashti was a student of Aydin Aghdashloo and painted his first works under the influence of his childhood in Khash and his numerous travels with Ali Golestaneh. His early works tend towards impressionism, and since the early 1970s he has been depicting the same fading horizons and pristine nature with an abstract perspective. The works of this landscape artist were first exhibited in 1992 in the group exhibition "Art of the Dead" in a factory in Kalangi. His first solo exhibition was held in 1998 at the Seyhoun Gallery. The last work from this period of Dashti's work was an 18-piece landscape with very large dimensions, created in 1991. Dashti's abstract works have apocalyptic motifs and spread a bright and colorful spot on the horizon.
